come join us at MacGregor Outfitting for a spot and stalk black bear hunt! Our hunts are held in a remote area of North central Alberta, in the month of September. Get away into the middle of the Alberta wilderness in search of a trophy black bear! You will be hunting primarily by truck, atv, side by side with some walking. We hunt logging\oilfield roads and cut blocks; glassing to find your trophy black bear. You will be staying in a canvas wall tent camp with all the amenity's, electricity (generator), warm showers, cots, sleeping pads, wood stoves, and great food. The camp is set right on deep lake so fishing is also a option! We spend many hours scouting the area to find where these big bears are living and feeding. Many big boars frequent the area, with about 25% being color phase bears. We strive and encourage clients to only harvest mature bears and manage our area accordingly. Which in turn, Allows young boars to grow and mature. We happily accommodate rifle and bow hunters. bringing a rifle/bow you are comfortable and consistent with is key (minimum .270). shot distance on the hunt is between 20-300 yards, depending if you are bow or rifle hunting and the opportunity given. This is a Perfect hunt to start off the fall season, whether it is your first guided hunt or you have done many guided hunts. We can ensure the adrenaline will be flowing when you see these bears in your binos!

There is also the opportunity for a wolf or coyote during your bear hunt.
